Solid Grounds partners with a select group of experienced landscape designers who bring both creative vision and practical planning to your property. These professionals are chosen for their ability to listen, communicate clearly, and develop designs that can be executed successfully.
Not every project requires a full design. You are guided through that decision early in the process, so your investment is aligned with the scope of your project.
Paige Payne
https://www.onlinelandscapedesigns.com/
Paige Payne brings nearly two decades of experience in landscape design, installation planning, and horticulture. Her background began at the University of Georgia, where she studied horticulture before moving to Colorado and working in both public and private garden environments.
Her early work maintaining public gardens in Crested Butte and estate properties in Boulder built a strong foundation in plant health, site conditions, and long-term landscape performance. That hands-on experience carries through into her design work today.
Paige holds both Master Gardener and Permaculture Design certifications, and her work reflects a strong understanding of sustainable landscape design. She has designed and managed projects ranging from outdoor living spaces to water-wise properties, with a focus on creating landscapes that function well over time.
You benefit from a designer who understands both the visual layout and the construction process behind it. Her designs are clear, detailed, and built with real-world installation in mind, which helps reduce confusion, delays, and unexpected changes during your project.
In addition to her design work, Paige is an educator with the Permaculture Women’s Guild, where she helps others translate ideas into structured, buildable plans. This experience reinforces her ability to take your vision and turn it into a design that is both practical and well thought out.

A Design That Works on Paper and in Real Life
When you work with Solid Grounds and their design partners, your plan is not created for presentation alone. It is created for execution.
Your design is developed with real construction in mind, which means materials, layout, and scope are planned so they can be built efficiently. This reduces delays, avoids costly revisions, and keeps your project moving forward with clarity.
A Structured Approach That Starts With How You Want to Use Your Property
If you are investing in your property, the design phase needs to be handled correctly.
Many customers come in with ideas but no clear direction. Others have worked with designers who did not listen or pushed a design that did not reflect their goals.
Your experience here is different.
You begin with a detailed conversation about how you want to use your property, your priorities, and your investment level. From there, your designer develops a plan that reflects those inputs, not assumptions.
You are involved throughout the process, which means the final design aligns with your expectations and avoids unnecessary changes later.
Design Options That Match the Scope of Your Project
Not every property requires the same level of design.
You are guided to the right approach based on your project:
- 2D plans for straightforward layouts and construction guidance
- 3D renderings when you want to fully visualize the finished space
- Phased master plans for larger properties or long-term improvements
This structured approach allows you to make decisions with confidence while keeping your investment aligned with your goals.
From Design to Installation Without Disconnects
A design is only valuable if it can be built correctly. Solid Grounds coordinates directly with the designer and the installation team, so the transition from design to construction is organized and efficient.
If you already have a design, it can be reviewed and implemented. If you need a design, you are connected with a trusted professional who works within a defined process.
This coordination reduces miscommunication and keeps your project consistent from start to finish.
